Anthropologie DIY Christmas Garland Hack

Oh Anthropologie, I love you... but I do not always love your prices! I needed something extra for my mini Christmas tree we use every year, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. While shopping around I saw many adorable options...and then I saw the price, $20+!! Too spendy for me for such a little tree. I decided to make my own, and ended up only spending $2.99!

I found these bad boys at my local Fred Meyer (I should have bought more as they were sold out when I went back a few days later). I also had some embroidery thread in my craft stash. All I needed was a needle and some patience...

I started with a simple knot on one end of the string and then got to it. It was so easy to get the needle through and at each ball I tied a simple knot on either side to keep the ball from moving around. I wasn't too concerned with the spacing being exact as I knew no one would be able to notice once it was on the tree. This is just like the garland you see in stores, but less expensive and you can tell everyone you made it!
